Suddenly plunged into the icy world of footwear design, I'm always looking at what's poppin' out there on the shoe tip. As a personal reference I put together an easy-reference Tumblr focused specifically on graphic detail in footwear and shoe design in general. Of course, being a graphic designer, I'm looking at color, juxtaposition of material, interesting closure systems, branding application, processes, and the conjunction of typography and other more "print-" oriented design components in footwear. It's by no means comprehensive, and most of the images are scrapped from other contemporary blogs and sites, and just compiled here as reference. Feel free to peruse.
