Disasterbation!

I made this print for a show put together by Michael Aberman and Anton Pearson at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, called "Slanguage." The idea is to showcase a portmanteau using lettering, and I did the words "Ghostmodern Disasterbation." The mix of lettering styles, layering of the drawings and slight transparency of inks lends itself to the idea of language evolving, transforming, and being customized by it's user. The final piece ended being three colors on white 8x10 cotton stock. A big thanks to the wonderful duo at KeeganMeegan Press & Bindery. I'll have these up for sale in the coming weeks...
